We had to be on board for 24 hours since boarding the cruise before we could reach our first destination - Corfu.

There's no better day to kick start our day, if not with a good breakfast, before we started exploring the ship.

Does that look like a mini tornado (in the distance) to you?

Our cruise fare also included dining which was always a plus point.
There were two main dining rooms, Grand Pacific and Alizar, both of which offered a beautifully crafted menu; buffet at Garden Cafe; and a variety of casual cafes such as Blue Lagoon & Great Outdoors; as well as grills and on-the-go choices such as Bali Hai & Topsiders Bar & Grill.
Alternatively, you could widen your palette further and choose from the other six specialty restaurants for a cover charge.
One of the main dining room in Norwegian Jade - Grand Pacific.
This is the Stardust Theater - we were here every night after dinner for a bit of entertainment before we hit the sack.

And board game room with a limited selection of games.
At noon, we attended the Cruise-Critic roll known as the 'meet and greet' at Le Bistro, which was well-attended with many senior officers there.
It was nice to finally meet the representatives of whom we've been in contact with online prior to our trip and it was great to hear some of them share their experience on other cruise lines with us.
After all the eating that we did on board the cruise, I had to do a bit of exercise to burn off the fats. Can you spot me?
After that group exercise, we went ahead to enjoy our sinful lunch at Grand Pacific and feel a little less guilty.
Just look at the beautiful pattern the cruise leaves behind it - I can just stare at this all day long.

After a restful afternoon, we had a fantastic dinner at Jasmine Garden as we were missing Chinese food a fair bit.

And then, it was show time again!
