7 nights Greek Isles on the Norwegian Cruise Line

On 4th October, we checked out the hotel and dragged our luggage for a good 15 minutes walk to Zattere so we could catch quick 10 minutes Alilaguna ride to the cruise terminal.

We walked by the local market located close to our hotel, and I can't help admire the beautiful colours of the fresh produce.

We checked in to the cruise and was impressed at how organised and systematic they were. It didn't take us long to board at all.

The crew were so kind to welcome us with their beautiful singing & dancing at the main entrance whilst the other crew members directed us to the Garden Cafe at Deck 12 for our lunch buffet.

The ship sailed at 6pm so we headed to Topsiders Bar & Grill near poolside for the barbecue party.

In the evening, we bidded Venice farewell and start the next leg of our adventure on the cruise.

Norwegian Jade

Norwegian Jade is a cruise ship for Norwegian Cruise Line, originally built as the Pride of Hawaii for their NCL America division. This ship weight 93,500 gross tons, 14 decks which can accommodate 2400 passengers and with 1,038 crews from 65 nations.

From check-in, security checks and WELCOMING aboard (washy washy happy happy!) until our disembarkation, we felt special and treated. Everything on board was perfect, from our first dining experience until the last show.

We stayed in a mini-suite with balcony and we couldn't have been more comfortable and pleased. It was just the perfect amount of room for the two of us, especially during those couple of days at sea.

The dining rooms served great food, including the buffet, and all was perfect on the cruise front. The food was outstanding -- plenty of choices and options for everyone. We had our 1st dinner at Alizar, one of the main dining room. The presentation was lovely, all the dishes were freshly prepared and served warm.

After dinner, we were in time to catch a live show at 'Stardust Theater' to wrap up our night !

To be continued............
