We had a good night sleep after a fine dinner followed by a show to wrap up our night!
The captain docked on time this morning. Getting off the ship was very smooth. We already purchased an excursion (online, from home) that would take us to the fascinating Florence and Pisa. Our driver met us once we got off the ship. The journey took about an hour to Florence.
I've been here with my family in 2003 and it felt rather strange that nothing much has changed in the past 13 years! But so so glad to be back again to explore the fascinating streets of Firenze. Love every corner of it.
A statue of David and demi-god Hercules stands guard at the entrance to Piazzo della Signoria.

Continued to Pisa after a good few hours at Florence.
My "I've been to the Leaning Tower of Pisa" shot for this trip. The last time we reached here in the evening as the sky already turn dark.
Back to the cruise in the evening. We headed straight to Moderno for dinner which I already made the reservation earlier. If you're looking for a unique experience, this authentic Brazilian steakhouse is a must. Start with an impressive salad bar of
imported cheeses, olives, cured meats, ceviche and specialty salads. Be sure to
save room for the delicious skewers of slow-roasted meats including beef, pork,
lamb and chicken – all carved tableside by our Pasadores.
What a great meal! Tomorrow is Cannes and we don't have any plan but we are really looking forward to being back in France.
